Evoke's July 2022 Recap

Want to learn about some of the many things the Evoke team got up to during July?

The month began with the Evoke team enjoying a great night celebrating at this year's Hull and East Yorkshire People in Business Awards for being a finalist in the 'Judges Recognition' category, for being recognised as 'a team who have gone above and beyond to create a positive impact during the Coronavirus Pandemic, for showing exceptional leadership through an unprecedented business environment, and has demonstrated understanding, empathy and strategised effectively to take their business and team through this time, while also seeing opportunities to thrive'.

While our Digital Marketing Apprentice was a finalist for 'Apprentice of the Year', being 'an individual who is currently completing an apprenticeship within the business, and is demonstrating commitment to their personal development, has high ambition for progression and has shown great contribution in a short space of time within the team'.

Everyone here at Evoke would again like to say a massive congratulations to all the winners and other finalists on the night!

Did you manage to spot any of our Award Winning Multi-Sensory Vans this month?

Preston Primary School gave us a big thumb up toward the beginning of the month, after experiencing one of our Award-Winning Multi-Sensory Vans at their school.

We loved hearing one of the children who had experienced the immersive space say "I am living my best life", while another asked "Are we still in the car park?" after going all the way to space, and being fully immersed in the scenario by the lighting, sounds and smells within the Sensory Van.

We also attended Frederick Holmes School's Summer Safari Day with our Multi-Sensory Van this month, as well as with our Interactive Floor in which all the children loved playing on throughout the day. During our time at the visit, we also ran a Sensory Van colouring sheet competition for the children at the school, where the winners received a sensory gift bag. A huge thank you to all the children that created their own design, we loved them all!
