Want to learn about some of the many things the Evoke Team got up to during March?

During March we had the opportunity to host several sessions for a group of Kelvin Hall School's students during the Immersive Work Experience event ran by Y Focused, in which covered virtual and augmented reality and what it can bring to classroom learning, and how it can benefit each of the students.

These sessions included guided virtual tours of the world to showcase how we can take the students to any city or landmark around the world and create a fully immersive environment which was followed with group discussion about why the students thought this would be beneficial in their learning, as well as tasks to create a guided virtual tour of their own with a place they wish they could visit, supported by posters and social media posts to promote it if their ideas was to be created. Throughout the sessions, each of the students thoroughly enjoyed the immersive experience, and expressed multiple positive opinions on why they think virtual reality would support their learning experiences in a positive way.
